DESCRIPTION OF CLASSES
Hatha Yoga:
- Hatha Yoga is the exploration of the physical postures (asanas). Our program is set up to take a student from first time practice to an advanced practice.
We focus on stretching, strengthening and relaxation - we also work in the Vinyasa or Flow style incorporating the movement and the breath (pranayama).
Hot Yoga:
- The room is heated to approximately 30 degrees to keep the muscles warm and supple. We work with 26 different postures - 13 standing and 13 on the floor.
The focus is on stretching, strengthening and weight loss.
Dynamic Flow Yoga:
- Dynamic flow yoga is a breath inspired journey that draws on a variety of lineages and styles of yoga. Postures are linked together through harmonizing movement with deep ujjaiyi breath emphasizing the transitions as much as the postures themselves. Dynamic yoga's strength lies in its variety and the creation of moment to moment consciousness as you center yourself in the flow of practice.
Hot Flow:
- Suitable for beginner to experienced students combining the benefits of Hot Yoga and Gentle Flow
